The Goal Tiger tool was initially developed to
run on a Windows platform. We have not been able to locate a MAC
developer for this tool. However, it is possible for MAC users to still
enjoy much of the Goal Tiger experience by using existing MAC
applications.
At the heart of Goal Tiger is RSS technology, which allows Goal
Tiger to communicate directly to your desktop (as long as you are on
the Internet). With this capability, Goal Tiger can keep your goals,
as well as helpful audio, video and text messages, in front of you
every day.
There are a number of RSS readers designed for the MAC platform that
will enable you to plug in to Goal Tiger. We are not able to make
any recommendations as to the best RSS readers for MAC, but here are
some that are very popular with MAC users. If you experience
problems receiving Goal Tiger messages, please let us know the
specific problem and we will do our best to make changes on our end.
However, we cannot guarantee that any of the MAC readers will be
free of problems as we have no experience working with them, and you
may need to try more than one MAC reader to find one that works for
you.

(the developer of Newsfire advises that in order to
receive a popup notification of new messages like our
Windows users receive, "NewsFire integrates with the
Growl (http://growl.info/about.php
)framework to provide pop-up notifications of events.
Users must download and install Growl to enable this
support."

Most readers will already have a number of RSS feeds pre-installed.
You probably want to delete most, if not all, of these feeds in
order to enjoy the same experience that Windows users will have.
Goal Tiger is meant to be a “goal achieving tool” and not a
newsreader (although it can perform that function as well).
Once your MAC reader is installed and you have deleted the
pre-installed feeds you do not want, you will need to ADD three
feeds. Instructions for adding feeds should be contained in your MAC
reader or its help pages. It will basically involve cutting and
pasting these links into the appropriate place in your reader.
Feed # 1:
http://www.vicjohnson.com/feed/ (name of feed:
VicJohnson.com )
Feed # 2:
http://www.goals2go.com/feed/ (name of feed:
Goals2Go.com)
Feed # 3: THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE. You will
receive your personalized Goal Tiger feed after you
register your goals.
(1)
ACTIVATE
Goal Tiger using the SAME ACTIVATION
code you were sent earlier (this is the same code you
used to activate the Vision Board software).
(2) You
will then be asked to enter your Top 5 Goals for the
Year and click the Update Information button.
(3) You
will copy and paste your personalized URL into the
appropriate place in your reader. (name of feed: Goal
Tiger )
